Affordable Housing Programs

In addition to Section 8 rental assistance, the Linn-Benton Housing Authority develops, owns and manages various affordable housing properties throughout Linn and Benton counties. The Housing Authority focuses on underserved individuals and families including seniors, people with disabilities and low-income families.

Linn-Benton Housing Authority offers clean, safe and affordable units for low-income families, people with disabilities and the elderly. We own and manage various studio, one, two, three and four-bedroom units in Albany, Corvallis, Lebanon and Brownsville.

New residents will need to meet Income Guidelines for the various programs, and pass a criminal history background check. We will also check landlord references for the last two years to determine if an applicant will be a good renter. First-time renters, or people who have not rented within the last two years, can provide alternative references showing they will pay their rent on time, take good care of the unit, and get along well with their neighbors. We will provide applicants with guidance and the necessary paperwork throughout the application process.
